In Astrology, the energy to transcend limitations and expand auspiciously through the gathering of knowledge from experience is known as Jupiter. This is seen as the innate desire to break free from mental and or physical patterns that traps the native into restrictive and depressive cycles. Pure infinite liberated consciousness incarnates into a vessel we call a body to traverse this entropic reality of desires known as earth. When something limitless is placed in a vehicle that appears to have limitations it subsequently produce a strong desire to be free from constraints. This energy lords over the zodiacs Sagittarius and Pisces, Sagittarius is the constellation that expresses a path of liberation through Devotion, enlightenment and travels. Whereas pisces is imaginative and trying to disintegrate into the Godhead and shattering limitations of the mind. This energy is expressed throughout all cultures and represented as the following archetypes. To the Greeks it is Zeus, to the Egyptians it is Amun-Ra, to the Babylonians it is Marduk and to the Sumerian it is Enlil.
One of the earliest incarnations of this energy in the Torah, or Bible , is Enoch. Enoch’s name literally means Education and Devotion, he was said to walk with God thus indicating the traveling nature of Sagittarius. It was told He walked and was no more, here we see the implications of the disintegration of pisces to transcend this reality. But before this Enoch there was another who was the son of Cain, Cain represents Saturn energy. Saturn aka Cain is symbolized by a cross and a sickle in astrology, the cross represent the material world/earth and the sickle means to cut off. This alludes to the agricultural cycles or cycles in life and being cut off as a wanderer. In the Bible Cain and his descendants dwelt in Nod which means wanderer. This word in greek is planets, Cain’s descendants are deified as planetary influences. The next time this Jupiterean energy is seen in our sacred text is in the recording of Abraham, whose name was originally Abram meaning Exalted Father which is associated with Jupiter whose name means the Sky Father. In the Beginning God tells Abram “Lek Leka” go to yourself and leave your father’s house. This is called individuation a term coined by Psychoanalyst Carl Jung. This is where a person develops a stable personality, coming into the self by breaking free from parental and societal patterns and ideologies.
Abram departure represents an individual looking to expand its knowledge through Binah the Hebrew word for understanding and experience. And in this journey the native brings with him elements of his true nature that is concealed from him, this is personified as Lot. Lot name means concealment or hidden, its corresponds and has the same meaning as Hades who is the lord of the underworld. Abraham and Lot together are incarnation of the constellations called the Two Companions or Twins of the constellation of Gemini. This makes perfect sense being that Abraham represents Jupiterian energy and Lot, Plutonian Martian energy. Martian being impulsive and impatient would cause conflict with the patience of Jupiter who gains knowledge through experience and travels, add them together and you get quick superficial and short travels which exactly what Mercury who is the lord of Gemini expresses. In fact the knowledge that is gathered through experience is usually sabotaged by desires and impatience, this is the conflict between the flocks, notice God visited Abram after Lots departure.The Great Companions or Great Twins guarded one of the gates of the netherworld represented by two solstices, the winter and the summer solstice the latter which is guarded by the Great Companions Abraham and Lot.
The winter solstice was the gate for discarnate souls traveling to the netherworld and the summer solstice was used for ancestral spirits to return to earth and visit their families in a fifth month festival. This also is the entrance or appointed time where souls for the newborns would enter. Lot and Abraham dwelled amongst the Canaanites and Perizzites, Canaanites which means merchant is alluding the the Mercurian energy that travels back and forth to the netherworld with information or data aka ghost and Perizzites means village open to outsiders, signifying the visitation from netherworld influences. To explain the phenomenon simpler imagine ghost as a foreign kingdom and merchants aka mercury from that kingdom bring their goods and solicit them to your small open town over time you would be under the influence of that Ghostly Kingdom. It is the Job of Lugalirra Akkadian for Mighty King who is Abraham and Meslamtaea the One who has risen from the underworld, Lot (returning from Sodom and Gomorrah aka hell) to prevent evil spirits or demons from entering. This gateway is the Zodiac of Cancer and is the sign of childhood trauma that seizes a person and subsequently they develop a shell hence the symbol representing thus energy is a crab. The shell expressing the desire for emotional security and claws alluding to the seizing of the terror and the grasping on to things as result of the trauma. In the Torah this concept is being expressed when Abraham was amongst the children of Het, Het meaning terror, Fear seize or grasp, aligning us with Cancer Zodiac and Abraham purchased from the Hettites the cave of Macpelah which means double-fold, an expression use to imply this is a spiritual world folded under this physical and caves and caverns were seen as gateways to the netherworld, further cementing the the fact that Abraham and Lot are guarding guarding the gateway like Gemini stands before Cancer.
In Astrology, Jupiter is exalted in Cancer and in the Bible the children of Het called Abraham a Nasi, meaning Prince or Exalted!!! Another expression of Jupiter in Cancer is when Abraham defeats the kings in the Great War, one of the kings names was Amraphel King of Shinar, Shinar means two rivers, the Tigris water level was represented by the front stars of the Crab while back symbolizes the Euphrates if the moon rested between the stars it was said to be a dark omen where floods and cloud burst would come, to support this Amraphel the king of Shinar name means dark sayings alluding to the omen of the before mentioned moon placement in the constellation. Also Arioch, king of Ellasar, is manifestation of the chastening energy when Venus sits inside Leo at certain times and when mars sits between the Lion. Arioch meaning Lion like and Ellasar translates to chastening. As we continue to revisit Abraham’s journey we will see that he goes to Shechem, by now you should know the next phase is to research the word, Shechem means to burden a load, indicative of what the pursuit of knowledge through experience incurs. Here Abraham plays the role of Atlas, who is burden with holding up the celestial sphere and teaching the world mathematics, astronomy, and philosophy. In Sumerian epics this is done by Enlil who we already connected with Abraham. In Astrology there are three circumpolar regions of stars, the northern, southern and the nexus between the two. It’s also known as the heavenly group, earthly and the abyss in which the latter is the southern. In Sumer Anu resided over the northern which is sometimes called the seat of Anu, Enlil is given the mid point and the southern is given to Enki. This expression is conveyed when Abraham pitched his tent between Beth El and Ai, Bethel means House of God aligned with the seat of Anu, and AI meaning Chaos representing the Abyss ruled by Enki. In myths Enlil of Sumerian epics and Marduk of Babylon had on their possession the Rope of Heaven the rope was said to be the connector of heaven and earth, also it was an astronomical rope that tethered around the north pole creating the three circumpolar regions. Here the feminine principle is access to all three realms, and the three circumpolar regions. Sarah being with Abraham was taken into Pharoah’s house the Northern region (the bull in Egypt or Ursa major) and the king of the Philistines rules the Abyss. Sarah leaving with riches from both places, is reminiscent of Innanna seizing power from Anu (in this case Pharaoh). This is also seen as Sarai making day and night equal by gaining dominion over day/heaven and night/ abyss, this makes Sarah Libra energy, every the length of day and night become equal. Libra Ruled by Venus who is also Innanna.
Abraham energy is highlighted more when Abraham has to rescue Lot from the king Chadorleomor. Bare with me for one second, Lot again represents our hidden desire which actually lie at the base of our motives, when Lot split with Abraham he took the well watered area of the Jordan. The Jordan in symbolic fashions follows the symbolism of most ancient civilizations major river as the earthly representation of the the Milky Way which is aid to be the path in which souls ascend or descend into the netherworld, the name Jordan means descent. Lot once more associated with Mars and or Pluto, and Nergal who actual sits on the milky way as a gate keeper. When the angels of the Lord came to get Lot he was actually sitting at the gates further solidifying our revelation or interpretation of Lot. In the war of the Kings Lot was captured by Chadorlaomer who’s name means rolls of wheat indicating Saturn the God of cycle and agriculture energy. Later Abraham rescues him similarly to when Zeus rescues Hades from Cronos’ (Saturns) stomach. Here we are being taught that our hidden or unresolved desires is what binds us to this reality of time and space ruled by Saturn energy. Saturn or Cain is also our guilt, shame and fears which is the catalyst behind most of our desires.
After his separation from Lot Abraham built an altar and pitched his tent in Mamre which is in Hebron. Maybe comes from the root Mara which means to flap one’s wings and Hebron coming from the root Chever meaning companion companion .
